On Sunday 15th March we have a small collection of nourishing Mother’s Day events; something gentle, something creative, and something just for you.
Sunday 15th March, 9.30–10.30am | In the Bell Tent
£11 per family
A relaxed and playful Pilates session for mums and their children to enjoy together in the bell tent. This session is all about moving your bodies, having a bit of fun, and sharing a special experience rather than “doing Pilates perfectly”.
We’ll explore simple Pilates-style movements, stretches and balance work that children can join in with, alongside their mums. It’s a lovely way to laugh, connect and do something a little different together on Mother’s Day.
No experience needed, just come as you are, wear something comfy, and enjoy some quality time and gentle movement as a family.
Sunday 15th March, 2–4pm | In the Bell Tent
£12 per family
This session was actually Erin’s idea; a chance for mums and children to spend some proper, unrushed time together doing something creative and fun. You’ll sit side by side making vision boards, chatting, cutting, sticking, dreaming, and seeing what comes up, all in a really relaxed, no-pressure way.
There’s no “right” way to do this, it’s about enjoying the process, having a laugh, and maybe learning a little more about what’s important to each other along the way. It’s light, playful, and a lovely way to connect without screens or distractions.
We’ll have afternoon tea alongside the vision board making, so you can nibble, chat and create at the same time in the cosy bell tent. A simple, feel-good Mother’s Day afternoon to enjoy together and take home something meaningful you’ve made side by side.
Sunday 15th March, 7.30–9pm | In the Bell Tent
£27 per person
An evening designed purely for you to rest, reset and be looked after. In the calm space of the bell tent, you’ll be guided through gentle face yoga to release tension held in the face, jaw and neck, followed by a soothing meditation to help you properly switch off.
The session will also include Reiki, offering you the chance to deeply relax and let go of the mental and physical load you carry day to day. This is time carved out just for you; no doing, no fixing, no giving to anyone else.
You’ll leave feeling softer, calmer, and more grounded, a beautiful way to close Mother’s Day.
Join us for a nourishing spring morning designed to gently reset your nervous system, quiet the busy mind, and reconnect you with your inner knowing through your senses and the natural world.
This unique experience combines an introduction to the ten senses with a guided Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) session. We’ll begin in the calm of the bell tent in my garden in Launton before walking together to Island Pond Wood to immerse ourselves in nature.
Tara Paonessa will guide you through an accessible, practical exploration of your ten senses, helping you understand how your body is constantly taking in information beyond sight, sound, smell, taste and touch. Your senses are directly linked to your nervous system and intuition, shaping how safe, calm, connected or overwhelmed you feel. Learning to tune into them can help reduce overthinking, increase calm, and strengthen self-trust.
From there, Imogen Hammond from Enwild Retreat will lead a slow, mindful Forest Bathing experience through Island Pond Wood. You’ll be guided to gently awaken your senses in the forest, allowing the trees, air, water and natural rhythms of the woodland to soothe and reset your system. We’ll pause by the pond, walk in silence and be invited into quiet reflection with gentle forest-based prompts. A complementary forest bathing meditation is included to support you beyond the session.
This is a deeply restorative morning for those wanting to slow down, feel more grounded, and reconnect with themselves and nature.
