I’m Liz, a medical doctor turned health and wellness strategist, Pilates teacher, face yoga instructor and Reiki healer.
After 11 years of working in the NHS predominantly as an obstetrician and gynaecologist, I hit burn out. Like most people I was juggling work, family, and the endless to-do list. I was prioritising everyone else, both at work and at home, but completely lost sight of my own wellbeing. Since burnout I've had to make some big lifestyle changes and since doing this in small, slow steps, I have come to understand that health is about balance, connection, and making choices that actually work in real life.
Now, I help women who feel like I did; overwhelmed, exhausted, and not knowing where to start in feeling good again, to take back control of their health and put themselves back on the priority list in a realistic and sustainable way.
My approach blends my medical knowledge and experience with holistic, practical tools. I focus on the root causes of how you’re feeling; from stress and hormones to sleep, movement and nutrition and together we put together a simple plan to help you make small changes that fit around your life, not the other way round, leading to healthy habits for life.
I’m passionate about helping women feel good in themselves and not guilty for prioritising their own wellbeing. You are much more likely to be successful and be able to help others if you are at your best. I believe that small, consistent steps are far more powerful than drastic overhauls, and I definitely don’t recommend diets or calorie counting. Your wellness plan should feel like something you want to do, not something you should do.
When I’m not coaching or teaching, I am either a taxi service for my three children who are all incredibly active with football, dance and swimming or out walking our energetic cocker spaniel Coco. I truly do understand the juggle of everyday life. For me I love being outside, running and wild swimming are definite priorities for me. I also value building strength in my body and spend time in the gym each week. I also love a bit of time being less active, curled up in front of the fire with a book.
If you’re ready to prioritise yourself and create a version of health that feels balanced, joyful, and sustainable you’re in the right place.
